A folding kayak?  Very curious to see what the price will be for this.  So many people want to be able to take their own vessel with them traveling but the size of a kayak usually limits this because of costs.  Plus, at 25 lb., what is normally considered to be a relatively heavy boat for some to drag on their own should have no problem with this!
I’m also thinking that adventurers that want to own a kayak but not have to deal with a roof-rack or storage solution will love this as well - Something that can fit in your closet? YES PLEASE!  I’ll just stash it in my mini cooper and it’ll be ready to go when I want to hit the river. Now if I only had a mini cooper I’d be set.

ORU FOLDING KAYAK Yes, you read that correctly. The Oru Folding Kayak ($TBA) is a completely sea-worthy vessel that packs down into a trunk- and plane-friendly form, complete with a built-in strap. It weighs just 25 pounds, and once you’ve reached your destination, 5 minutes of assembly will yield a 12-foot long kayak that’s ready for whatever you can throw at it. Folding oars not included.
