To me, support is not a death stare when you’re about to do something wrong or slip up. It’s a gentle or firm reminder how awesome it’s going to be if you hold your ground, if you keep carrying strong. Saying you’re supporting someone and then making them feel like shit is most definitely not helpful.

i desperately hate going to do something… and then a minute later having no recollection whatsoever that it was I was supposed to do.
